AbstractA study was performed on ceramic films and coatings produced by a gel-dipping process. Dipping tests were performed using suspensions heated at 60 °C to prevent additive gelation. Microstructural observations were made by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that a typical thickness range of 30-90 μm was obtained.
