| dc.description.abstract | Anomalously large differences are shown between the polarization resistance (Rp) values measured in the time and frequency domains, for rusted steel samples exposed to sodium sulphate solution in the presence of various corrosion inhibitors: chromate, molybdate, benzoate, nitrite, ferrocyanide, tannic acid. Behaviours like this pose a serious problem for evaluating the corrosion rate from the Stern-Geary equation. | - |
