Lignin samples runs as a single band and have the same electrophoretic mobility than fraction b of humic acid. Degraded lignin also yield fraction c+d. Model phenolic polymers and fungal melanins were mainly distributed into fractions equivalent to fractions b and c+d of humic acids.
