My primary interest is in the dynamics and synchronization properties of complex systems. In particular, I have been working on semiconductor lasers dynamics and delayed couple system with applications to chaos-based communications and information processing. I have been also involved in studies related to the constructive role of noise and heterogeneities. In the last years, I started to work in neuronal systems to better understand information processing in the brain.
