Ca-related physiological disorders in fruits and vegetables is causing major economic losses associated with decreased quality and post-harvest storability of commodities. The aim of my work is to learn about the physiological and nutritional bases which determine the development, quality and ultimately, the postharvest performance and shelf-life of the fruit with especial regard to Ca nutrition.
