Abstract: | We study the volume dependence of the left-current correlator with non-degenerate quark masses to next-to-leading order in the chiral expansion. We consider three possible regimes: all quark masses are in the ε-regime, all are in the p-regime and a mixed-regime where the lighest quark masses satisfy m(v)ΣV ≤ t while the heavier m(s)ΣV >> 1. These results can be used to match lattice QCD and the Chiral Effective Theory in a large but finite box in which the Compton wavelength of the lightest pions is of the order of the box size. We consider both the full and partially-quenched results. | Description: | 26 pages, 4 figures.-- ISI Article Identifier: 000250759700078.-- ArXiv pre-print available at: http://arxiv.org/abs/0707.3887 | Publisher version (URL): | http://dx.doi.org/10.1088/1126-6708/2007/10/033 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/9126 | DOI: | 10.1088/1126-6708/2007/10/033 | ISSN: | 1126-6708 | E-ISSN: | 1029-8479 |
