Resumen:	The diferences in food composition, habitat utilization, flocking behaviour and morphology of sympatric populations of two sparrow species have been analysed in an agricultural area of W - Spain. There is a clear spatial segregation between both species, the house sparrows remaining closer to human habitations. Associated flocking and feeding strategies are discussed.
