Resumen[EN] The morphology, the sedimentary architecture and the recent sedimentary evolution o f the Sacratif Turbidite System has been studied trough the analysis o f ultra-high resolution seismic profiles (TOPAS) and swath bathymetry (EM-12). This turbidite tystem, which is classified as a "canyon-fed turbidite system", is active during the Plio-Quaternary. The youngest architectural elements o f this turbidite system are two channel-levee complexes with big straight to sinuous channels which pass down-basin towards a channelized lobe. Channel-levee complexes are fed by two big canyons, the Eastern Canyon which is deeply incised in the inner shelf and the Western Canyon which is located near the mouth o f the Cuadalfeo River. Three phases has been stabilised in the recent sedimentary evolution of the Sacratif Turbidite System: (1) Widespread erosion and generation o f sandy lens bodies; (2) Agradation o f channel-levee complexes and distributary channels; (3) Widespread erosion and formation o f a sandy lens body. The geological characteristics o f canyons feeding this system (deeply incised, proximity to river mouth, tectonic activity) allows the trigger o f high-energy channelized gravity flows during the Holocene sea-level rise and highstand
