The samples show a heterogeneous deformation pattern. After testing, the metal near the periphery of the billet can be seen as the ¿easy deformed region¿ and material near to the geometric center can be seen as the ¿difficult deformed region¿. In other words, the strain is higher in the center and decreases toward its periphery.
