Precisar y evaluar los procesos, propiedades y componentes del suelo que son relevantes en la dinámica de pesticidas, contaminantes orgánicos y otros compuestos orgánicos de la rizosfera y que puedan afectar a la calidad y sostenibilidad del suelo y del cultivo. Sobre la base de estos conocimientos, también se aborda el diseño de estrategias para mejorar y asegurar la sostenibilidad de la calidad del suelo, agua y cultivos, minimizando el impacto ambiental asociado, principalmente, al uso del suelo en agricultura.
