[EN] This work deals with the development of industrial macrosonic systems for fluid application. To undertake an industrial problem using a high power acoustic system, it is necessary to scale up a laboratory prototype. The linear scaling is one of the most practical alternatives for macrosonic systems (transducer treatment chamber): if all dimensions are increased by a factor of K, in the scaled model the power capacity of the transducer increases by K2, the frequency decreases by 1/K, the acoustic pressure in the chamber increases by K and, the impedance and efficiency remains unchanged. |
