Abstract

Thematic routes constitute an attractive resource for scientific dissemination. They give us a chance to explore cities while walking, chatting and sharing knowledge on urban cultural heritage, with the guidance of experts and following a predesigned route and a coherent audio-visual narrative. Then, contents related to history, urban design, art, paintwork, music or literature, for instance, can be adapted in order to present them in a didactic and entertaining way to a wide variety of audiences
