The Oil Crash: Why this crisis will never end

ResumenThe peak in crude oil production in 2005, confirmed by the International Energy Agency, has ushered in a new era in the world: the era of expensive energy. Crude oil cannot cover the world demand anymore and, given the limitations of the alternatives known as other liquids of oil, the energy obtained from oil is about to start its definitive decline. The prospects for renewable energy sources are not reassuring either: renewable energy sources are not in a position to cover the huge void that non-renewables are leaving behind. Given these conditions, which future awaits our economies and our society? In this talk we will analyze the current situation and discuss the short term consequences
