ResumenEvery 2 years since 1997, UC Davis has organised the Transgenic Animal Research Conference, an international conference with a focus on state-of-the-art science in the field of transgenic research in non-murine animals, including livestock, fish and poultry species. Recently, the sixth meeting took place in Tahoe City (CA) and successfully addressed through invited presentations and submitted posters cutting-edge methodology, technical improvements and current progress towards producing transgenic animals for biomedical and agricultural applications.
