Abstract[EN] This paper present ulterior results in the research of Mullus barbatus that is being carried on in Vinaroz. As previously stated, spawning lasts from May to July. The ripening of gonads lasts a very long time in the males, from October to April-May; in the females ripening begins in March and comes to end in May-June. All the year males outnumber females. In small depths, both sexes are equally numerous, but in deeper waters, sexual proportion shifts in favour of males. Muscular and hepatic fat are studied, and their deposition is brought in relation with feeding and sexual activity; the study being made separately for both sexes. The pattern of movements of the mullets, from hatching to spawning, is visualized in fig. 11. The distribution of fishes is commented in relation with the actual system of fishing restrictions, from point of view of the net production of the involved fishing grounds
