AbstractIn this work we describe a new efficient method to compute accurate scattering phase shifts. The method is based on the Kohn Variational Principle. When applied to three-body reactions described through the adiabatic expansion method, a fast convergence of the phase shift (similar to the convergence of the energy for bound states) is found. © 2010 Elsevier B.V.
