dc.description.abstractThe construction of a spectrometer for high-resolution stimulated Raman spectroscopy is reported and the accuracy of wavenumber determination achievable is discussed. A Doppler-limited spectrum of the C[BOND]D stretching band (Q-branch) of the CH3D molecule in the 2200 cm¿1 region was recorded. Most of the observed transitions have been assigned and some rotational-vibrational constants have been refined.© 1990 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.-
