Mujeres ejemplares en los modelos de santidad femenina barrocos

Abstract

[EN]To configure the female model of holiness Baroque, women in the past, including some of the Old Testament were taken like a reference. But not all women strong or relevant of the Bible, became part of that model and the image of those that did, was conveniently adapted to highlight the values that they wanted to disseminate.

[ES]En la configuración del modelo de santidad femenino del Barroco se buscó como referente a mujeres del pasado, entre ellas algunas del Antiguo Testamento. Pero no todas las mujeres fuertes o relevantes de las Escrituras pasaron a formar parte de ese modelo y la imagen de las que lo hicieron fue convenientemente adaptada para subrayar los valores que se querían difundir.
