dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the results obtained in a study of the galvanic protection of steel provided by 55% Al-Zn coatings relative to zinc coatings (Sendzimir) in the atmosphere. While 55% Al-Zn coatings exhibit a passive behaviour under low aggressive atmospheres (e.g. in rural and urban areas), they provide good anodic performance (comparable to that of zinc coatings) under marine atmospheres.-
