Issue Date: | 22-Jan-2007 | Publisher: | Institute of Physics Publishing | Citation: | Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter 19, 065133 (2007) | Abstract: | In this work we study the absorbing state phase transition of a recently introduced model for interacting particles with neighbourhood-dependent reproduction rates. The novelty of the transition is that as soon as the active phase is reached by increasing a control parameter a periodically arranged structure of particle clusters appears. A numerical study in one and two dimensions shows that the system falls into the directed percolation universality class. | Description: | 8 pages.-- PACS numbers: 89.75.Kd, 87.23.Cc, 05.40.-a, 47.54.+r.-- Final full-text version of the paper available at: http://dx.doi.org/10.1088/0953-8984/19/6/065133. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/6105 | DOI: | 10.1088/0953-8984/19/6/065133 | ISSN: | 0953-8984 |
