AbstractThinking outside the box: A geometrical approach for the molecular-replacement solution of DNA crystal structures has been applied to solve the superstructures formed by d(CGATAT). Both B- and Z-form duplexes are stacked and form a complex set of intercrossed helical structures of unique topology. © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
