Resumen:	The relationships between the fertility (N, P, K) and the different types of forest and use forms in the superficial layer of 40 samples have been studied. Also, Al and heavy metals contamination in relation with the lithology have been investigated. Cutting down and burning forest for agricultural uses, and industrial exploitation of bauxite and limestone produced alterations in the soil processes.
