Issue Date5-Apr-2012
AbstractThe author begins analyzing the first "Christian" fact; it means the time when Zechariah was found in the temple of Jerusalem to "an angel of the Lord" (Lc 1:5). Their approach is strictly historical, but that forces him to consider two questions: one, its historical character and the possibility of proving it; the second, the need of including the Palestinian Targum as a main search, if, as a historian, one wants to know more of original Christianity. He demands that the historical-critical method in Biblics may be truly historical and not reduced to literary criticism.
