AbstractGalactic stellar observations need to be interpreted by means of theoretical models that set the context of the data. Numerical simulations including hydrodynamics have become one of the most important tools to study the formation and evolution of galaxies. We have built a chemical and dynamical model in the framework of Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics, with the specific goal of studying the Galactic fossil population. Moreover, the influence of the virialization process of dark halos on galactic evolution has been studied through five different galactic simulations. Here I present the main results of my PhD Thesis work that will be defended shortly.
