AbstractElliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is a branch of Cryptography that can be used for encrypting data, generating digital signatures or exchanging keying material during the initial phases of a secure communication. Regarding encryption, the best-known scheme based on ECC is the Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES). A Java implementation of ECIES is presented in this paper, showing all the options associated to the encryption scheme that can be configured by the user.
