Abstract[EN] The invention relates to a method and device for measuring hydridation kinetics at different temperatures in tubular industrial components. The invention consists in measuring the power dissipated by a hydridation reaction over time as well as the variation in the electric resistance during said reaction. The inventive method and device can be used to optimise industrial components, such as tubes and fuel claddings for nuclear reactor cores. In this way, safety is increased, with the prevention of unplanned shutdowns of commercial reactors and a decrease in high-activity nuclear waste.
[ES] Procedimiento y dispositivo para medir cinéticas de hidruración a diferentes temperaturas en componentes industriales tubulares. Se mide la potencia disipada por la reacción de hidruración en el transcurso del tiempo Se mide igualmente la variación de la resistencia eléctrica durante dicha reacción. El uso de dicho procedimiento y dispositivo permite la optimización de componentes industriales como tubos y vainas de combustible para los núcleos de los reactores nucleares. Así se eleva la seguridad, evitando paradas no programadas de los reactores comerciales y disminuyendo los residuos nucleares de alta actividad.
