First records of Parapercis roseoviridis (Perciformes: Pinguipedidae) in the southeast Atlantic

Abstract

[EN] This study gives information on the capture of four specimens of P. roseoviridis off the bench of Valdivia and the underwater mount Vema and analyzes the distribution of this species. Until now, the genus was only represented in the Atlantic by P. atlantica, of the Cape Verde Islands.

[FR] Ce travail donne des informations sur la capture de quatre spécimens de P. roseoviridis au large du banc de Valdivia et du mont sous-marin Vema et analyse la distribution de cette espèce. Jusqu’à maintenant, le genre était seulement représenté dans l’Atlantique par P. atlantica, des îles du Cap Vert.
