Resumen:	Five strains of lymphocystis virus (FLDV) isolated from gilt-head sea bream cultured in several fish farms of Andalusia (South of Spain) were studied. The culture characteristics of all viruses were compared using a new homologous cell line from Sparus aurata. In addition, the serological properties of the viral isolates were also determined comparatively by means of the indirect fluorescent antibody test (IFAT).
