AbstractA summary is made of several studies undertaken in order todevelop analytical methods applicable to pure lead analysisby inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry. It is shown that the methods developed on the basis of icp providean easy preparation of reference terms and a fast and effective calibration of the equipment, great sensitivity for allthe elements considered, and a simple methodology since theinterelement interferences are avoided by a correct choice of the analytical study. The determination of as, sb, sn, bi, se, te, tl, ag, cu, fe, and zn by means of icp is described. A description is presented of the separation methods for those special cases when it is desired to determine concentration levels under 1 ppm for each one of the elements.
