Currently, the entire scenario of microreactionapproach is an emergent technology and further advances are ongoing. Several strategieshave been successfully applied for structuring processes that imply the fixation of the cata-lysts on the microreactors. However, there are features such as the physicochemical stabilityof the coatings under reaction conditions that must be improved, motivating the search fornew protocols. This review provides a general overview of the most important method-ologies applied for glass, quartz, polymers and metals microreactors manufacture and fortheir coating, analyzing the advantages and drawbacks of every procedure. Furthermore, anoutline of the novel insights based on additive manufacturing techniques are described. | Versión del editor: | https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cherd.2021.05.001 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/241158 | DOI: | 10.1016/j.cherd.2021.05.001 |
