AbstractWe show numerically and experimentally that strong optical injection can enhance the operating bandwidth of semiconductor lasers with optical feedback in a photonic time-delay reservoir computing configuration. Its operating conditions can be significantly expanded while maintaining competitive computational performance in a time-series prediction task.
