AbstractData on biogeochemical characteristics (210Pb geochronologies, density, organic matter, organic carbon concentration, stable carbon isotopes, carbon stocks and carbon burial rates) and on the detection of Halophila stipulacea with eDNA in seagrass sediments cores from H. stipulacea, Cymodocea nodosa and Posidonia oceanica meadows collected in the Eastern Mediterranean (Greece and Cyprus).
