Título: | Exclusive initial-state-radiation production of the D(D)over-bar, D*(D)over-bar and D*(D)over-bar* systems |
Autor: | Babar Collaboration; Azzolini, Virginia; López-March, Neus CSIC; Martínez-Vidal, Fernando CSIC ORCID; Milanés, Diego A. CSIC ORCID; Oyanguren, Arantza CSIC ORCID; Aubert, B. | Fecha de publicación: | 5-may-2009 | Editor: | American Physical Society | Citación: | Physical Review - Section D - Particles and Fields 79 (9): 092001 (2009) | Resumen: | We perform a study of the exclusive production of $D \bar D$, $D \bar D^*$, and $D^* \bar D^*$ in initial-state-radiation events, from $e^+ e^-$ annihilations at a center-of-mass energy near 10.58 GeV, to search for charmonium and possible new resonances. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 384 $fb^{-1}$ and was recorded by the BaBar experiment at the PEP-II storage rings. The $D \bar D$, $D \bar D^*$, and $D^* \bar D^*$ mass spectra show clear evidence of several $\psi$ resonances. However, there is no evidence for $Y(4260) \to D \bar D^*$ or $Y(4260)\to D^* \bar D^*$. | Versión del editor: | http://dx.doi.org/ 10.1103/PhysRevD.79.092001 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/21984 | DOI: | 10.1103/PhysRevD.79.092001 | ISSN: | 1550-7998 |
