Abstract[EN] The average concentration of total mercury (expressed on wet Weight basis) of eels from estuary of the Guadalquivir River and from "Esteros" of Salines from Cádiz Bay was 0.27 ppm. and 0.19 ppm. respectively. We have found that the levels of mercury in Mullet (Mugil cephalus and Mugil aurata) was below 0.12 ppm. Concentration of mercury in sediment from Salines of Cádiz Bay was 0.12-0.18 ppm.
