AbstractThree new diterpenes with the rare isoryanodane skeleton, indicol (7), vignaticol (8), and perseanol (9), have been isolated from Persea indica (Lauraceae). These compounds proved to be antifeedants against Spodoptera litura, perseanol being the most active.
