AbstractThis work presents the preliminary archaeological results and the multidisciplinary approach undertaken on the extraordinary assemblage of more than 50 equids, which constitutes a unicum across the Mediterranean and a singular opportunity to characterize and interpreted the equine population sacrificed at the site, before the building was sealed with tons of earth that form a tell.
