AbstractAchiral building blocks form nonracemic, chiral capsular hosts with enantioselective molecular recognition properties. The chirality is imprinted by a chiral guest template, and persists for hours in organic solvents after the guest has been removed. The exchange equilibria are depicted, with the guest exchanges shown by the horizontal equilibria and monomer exchanges by the vertical equilibria.
