AbstractThis degree final project is the study of how strong currents can modify the signal of measurement ofwind using a scatterometer. The area that has been chosen for the study is the Delta Ebro because in thiszone can be measure velocity and direction of currents and winds, using HF radar of Delta Ebro and thescatterometer ASCAT, respectively. Also, before doing that, it will be done a validation data comparingthe results of measures of HF radar with a static buoy located in Tarragona
