AbstractThe following work is born from a current problem: Excess emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG). The construction industry favors a large percentage of these emissions, therefore, it is studied in which phases the materials produce more pollution and a case study is chosen: Gypsum. Previous research shows that gypsum can be obtained by Solar energy, avoiding emitting C02 in its process. The scope of this work will be the verification of this event and the feasibility of replacing the current gypsum with the ‘Solar Gypsum’. The production of solar gypsum in conjunction with sustainable and technological development leads to new applications for this material, specifically in the field of heritage and cooperation.
