AbstractColloidal polymer nanoparticles have recently attracted great interest as a result of their use in a wide range of applications including drug delivery, biolabeling, advanced biological sensors, photonic crystals, etc. The large interfacial area of nanoparticles may induce profound changes in the properties of the polymers, a fact which is of utmost importance from both technological and fundamental viewpoints
