dc.description.abstract | Radiative transfer modeling of near-infrared spectra taken by the Nadir and Occultation for Mars Discovery (NOMAD) instrument on-board the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) enables the retrieval of the vertical distribution of carbon monoxide in the Mars atmosphere (among many other quantities). The collection of NOMAD observations taken to date covers nearly a full Mars year permitting a first look at the seasonal and global-scale variations of CO observed by TGO. Here we present this climatology of CO from NOMAD and compare it against the CO climatology obtained previously by the CRISM instrument. | - |
