De Porfirio a Huerta: Los problemas con los Estados Unidos vistos desde España

Abstract

North American intervention in the Mexican Revolution could not be well considered by Spain, a country which maintained close relations with Mexico during the Porfiriato and still felt "hurt" alter the North American interference in Cuba. Going on this premise, the purpose of this study is to show how Spanish people, and Sevillians in particular, viewed the role that the United States played in the firsts stages of the revolutionary process through the press and the writings of some Spanish and Latin American intellectuals.
