Geo-Soft-CoRe (Geoscientific Software & Code Repository) is an open access multidisciplinary collection for software and code in Earth science. The collected software has been developed to analyze different aspects of the Earth system, encompassing tools for: i) analyzing climate variability; ii) assessing natural hazards, and iii) understanding the solid Earth’s structure and dynamics.

Due to the broad range of applications for these software packages, the collection is useful for basic and applied research in Earth science and educational purposes, reducing the gap between the geosciences and society.

This collection is the result of a fruitful inter-institutional collaboration, enhancing multidisciplinary research and promoting advanced research networks. As such, the collection is regularly updated, and we are open to new international collaborations. By making the software freely available, we set the basis for developing improved digital models, or twins, of the Earth system.
