AbstractMineralogical characteristics, and classification of Intergrades andosol-oligotrophic -brown earth. are studied in this paper. These soils are very complex, poligenetic, with a ferrallitic alteratioli in the deep -horizons, and an andic alteratioli in the surface. The parent material correspond to a very altered basalt from the terciary period. The climate is perhumid througliout the year. The degree of evolution of these soils is well marked from chemical and mineralogical characteristics.
