(meters above sea level), in Tenerife island. The measurements were performed with the objective of studying the variability of Saharan dust composition. The samples were analyzed with the technique PIXE (Particle Induced X ray Emission) at the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) at Florence (Italy).
