dc.description | En: 1st Spanish National Conference on Advances in Materials Recycling and Eco – Energy Madrid, 12-13 November 2009.-- Editors: F. A. López, F. Puertas, F. J. Alguacil and A. Guerrero.-- 4 pages, 5 figures, 4 tables. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The process developed to stabilize Hg-contaminated soil consisted of the incorporation of the soil in a mixture of gravel, sulfur and sulfur modified polymer. The mass percentage of soil stabilized is nearly 60%. This means the stabilization of a very high amount of Hg-contaminated soil per mass of sample. Due to the physical characteristic of the Hg-contaminated soil a high amount of sulfur is required (19-21% S) to improve the workability and the mechanical properties of the probes. | en_US |
