Fecha de publicación: | 2018 | Editor: | Lit Verlag | Citación: | In The Footsteps Of Spanish Colonialism In Morocco and Equatorial Guinea. The Handling of Cultural Diversity and the Socio-Political Influence of Transnational Migration : 3-21 (2018) | Resumen: | The objective of this book is to analyze the political practices of Spanish colonialism in Africa, using the cases of Morocco and Equatorial Guinea. The research that makes up this volume introduce certain specific aspects in greater depth, details which are not widely known among the English-speakíng public. As we shall see, the contents of the texts question the marginal nature of the Spanish experience with respect to other European colonialisms because they offer a renewed analysis that values it while also connecting it to other European practices. Thus, a Spain that projected the same structures as other colonial powers such as France, but which prioritized in the end its internal interests, affecting Morocco and Equatorial Guinea in different ways, emerges. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/169375 | ISBN: | 978-3-643-91010-3 (pb) 978-3-643-96010-8 (PDF) |
