La violencia política en la España del siglo XX

Abstract

[EN] The aim of this article is to analize the political violence in Spain in the twentieth century. We think that this phenomenon is not particular or specific of Spain and that it is necessary lo relate the violení actions of the groups that aren’t in power and the actions of the state itself We use the most modern theories about violent social conflict, analizing the four big periods ofthe history of Spain in this century: Restoration, Second Republic and Civil War, Franco’s Dictatorship and the new democratic system.

[ES] El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la violencia política en la España del siglo XX, partiendo de la consideración de que no es un fenómeno particular ni específico de España y de que se hace necesaria una interrelación de las actitudes violentas de los grupos fuera del poder y las del Estado mismo. Se utilizan las más modernas teorías sobre el conflicto social violento, analizando los cuatro grandes periodos en que se divide tradicionalmente la historia de Españaen este siglo: Restauración, Segunda República y Guerra Civil, dictadura franquista y el nuevo régimen democrático.
