Abstract

[GA] O texto pretende contribuir para uma reflexão e discussão em torno dos sistemas defensivos, particularmente em relação às muralhas, de Trás-os-Montes Ocidental (Norte de Portugal), que serão relacionadas a um tipo específico de actividade produtiva e interpretadas enquanto elementos de distinção social das comunidades que habitavam nesta área na proto-história.

[EN] The text seeks to discuss the defensive systems, particularly in relation to the ramparts of Western Trás-os-Montes (North of Portugal), which will be related to a specific type of productive activity and interpreted as elements of social distinction of the communities that lived in this area in protohistory.
