AbstractThe proof-of-concept for the modular synthesis of new functional soft gel materials based on amide-triazole isosteric replacement has been demonstrated. A coassembly approach of isosteric amino acid-based hydrogelators was fruitfully applied for fine-tuning the release of entrapped drugs.
